today while walking home, was praying and praying..
then want to open mailbox..
it's near to 11pm.. as those who know, my mailbox is 1 mth open once onli..
very lazy to go open de.
and.. ever since i applied PR on 24th Mar till now, every week i got go open mailbox hoping to see something but everytime it's disappointment..
and e more near to 24th Jun, e more i'm worried coz my work pass is onli till 24th June.
then my dad called me n i say i am on my way and will go open mailbox 1st..
then he asked me not to go since it's so late..
normally i will juz listen n dun open coz i'm lazy.
but today dunno y i juz had e very stubborn thought to open no matter wad..
And i received a letter from ICA!!!!
immediately tore it..
and my eyes caught the 1st sentence 'Congratualations. Your application for permanent residence has been APPROVED.'
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
is happy de...
FINALLY....
This is the thing, that i've been waiting for, that my family oso waiting for for more than 10 years!!!!
Nearly happy till cried la..
Really a longggggggggggggggggggggggggggg wait.........
Then sms-ed ppl..
Wanted to wait till e day i really receive my SPR IC then asked everyone out for a dinner like normal, during dinner then burst out e news de lor..
But juz can't wait to share this..
The most important thing is..
THANK GOD!!!!
But this is not my ultimate n greatest wish..
My greatest is....
that me n my parents can have formal parent-child relationship, and that i can become a Singaporean.
can u imagine, ur parents are never ur parents in ur whole life.
this is something very sad for both my parents and myself ba.
although we never talked abt it b4.
but which parents will wish their child is not their child.
i reali hope this wish can be fulfill.
-oki so now had to book a timeslot on a weekday to go down to ICA to submit some documents then wait again.. then go to collect my IC!! ha..
had to apply leave/time-off next wk le.
-had to go medical checkup, wait for medical report,
-take new IC photo coz previous one super ugly,
-book a time slot to go down
-pay $200 in total for entry permit, REP, IC fee.
(this is why i MUST save $ by taking lunch from home)
-my company had to fill in a form for me, oh so ps to trouble them leh.
-see, dunno when can i go down to ICA lor. muz see to so many things.
-and medical checkup oso need $..
-although Jun's salary onwards muz deduct CPF, but i'm still happy.
-i can do so many things after i gotten my pr..
-i can start registering for driving test n lessons, if i got e $ to learn
-i can convert my banks status
-next phone bill renewal i can put my own name alr if not muz put $500 deposit
-etc etc etc etc!!!!
